These tablets all have a price of around 300 Euros (~$417), and feature a Bay Trail Atom SoC. The contenders in the form of purebred 8-inch Windows tablets are mainly Dell's Venue 8 Pro, Lenovo's Miix2, and Toshiba's Encore WT8-A-102. Now the potential buyer has to decide whether the smaller 8-inch device with the same Windows power would be enough because a Bluetooth keyboard can be purchased for little money. The Transformer Book provided quite a decent application and processing performance. An Intel quad-core Z3740 powers the slim 8.1-inch tablet, and a 64 GB flash memory supplements it.
